I threw this together on a whim, and it's proven to be a lot of fun. Basically I took the red pre-con, stripped out whatever wasn't artifact related, and put in blue cards that were. I picked Niv because there's no on-theme general, and he has a lot of utility, drawing me cards and removing obnoxious things. The deck has a lot of moving parts, which make it interesting to play.

Suggestions are welcome, but I'm trying to keep this not a combo deck, so please no Lattice/Disk type suggestions. Also I didn't include Arcum Dagsson, because, well, he's Arcum F**king Dagsson and screw him.

Hammer of Purphoros and Bident of Thassa seem like they'd do some work here... are they disallowed for being artifacts?

Your colored mana requirements are minimal... it'd probably be safe to add Urza's Factory (and other artifact tie-in lands)...

Do you ever have enough artifacts on the table to Feedback Bolt someone to death?

Muzzio, Visionary Architect, Sculpting Steel, or Duplicant?

Only cut I can see is Myr Sire but ten to one he is part of something I don't see.

Good call on Muzzio. Dumped the myr sire and traded for one. The myr wasn't part of anything per se, just decent fodder for sacrifice effects and such. Useful, but not essential.
